OUTDOOR CONVERSATIONS (2021)

I invited a small group of peers to participate in a creative activity based on their experience with an outdoor environment. Everyone who participated had a different task to complete. I then asked each of them to give me their work, which commenced a conversation about their experiences and the reasoning behind the work. I invited each participant to provide me with an outdoor assignment to complete in exchange. Each tree presents the work of my fellow artists, with my response alongside to create our outdoor conversation. The trees used are as unique as the artists involved. The process of this artwork aimed to connect me to my fellow peers in a meaningful creative engagement and encourage them to experience the therapeutic benefits of connecting to nature.
